What’s that, up there…

So I ended up in the MAC for IV fluids, I got 4 liters and some Zofran and I was still spilling ketones when I left but that’s not the big news.

We had our first Ultra Sound!

Here’s a snippet of the conversation that went along with it…

Mom (doing the US): So here’s the baby, down here
Husband: What’s that, up there on the left?
Me: Oh, I think that must be the yolk sac, right?
Mom: Hold on, just a minute.
2nd Nurse: Let’s see, here’s the head and feet of this baby, and here is the head and feet of a second baby.

That’s right. We have a reason for the extreme nausea.

It’s really good that I was laying down for the next three hours because I probably would have passed out.
