Just another Minnesota Mom blog.

I’ve noticed lately that the boys have an overabundance of green clothing…maybe that’s just my bias towards the color kicking in.

Just a little.

I’d be happy putting them in green every day. I don’t even care that they wear matching outfits nearly every day. I really thought I’d dress them differently but right now it’s just easier to put them in matching outfits. Too much work trying to coordinate. Not that it matters if they coordinate. They just hang out in the living room all day. They could wear diapers and a onesie and be just fine.

Which brings me to our little toe dip into cloth diapering.

It’s so freaking easy I’m kicking myself that we didn’t start earlier. Even Mr. Wonderful thinks it’s great. I actually think it’s easier to change than a regular diaper- seems to go much faster. After we get them ready for bed I just throw the load in the wash and in the morning, fresh clean diapers.

We’re just using little g pants with prefolds but so far (and I may jinx myself here) no issues at all. They are awfully fluffy though. I’m thinking of getting some cloth inserts that aren’t so bulky so we have slimmer options.

Right now we have enough to get both boys through the day and then we use disposables at night. So, I’m looking into more little g’s and possibly some other covers or perhaps pockets. As long as they come in green I’ll be happy to try them out.

Lincoln and Mr. Wonderful (I assure you he is wearing pants) practicing Ashtanga Yoga…my we are turning into a crunchy little family. Maybe not quite crunchy…crispy?
