Fried Drive.

No new pics will be posted until after Tuesday… our hard drive is fried.

Thankfully after I had a complete breakdown at the thought of losing all of the boys pics and videos (which are only on our computer) my husband was able to restore them and with the help of his dad get everything backed up before our new HD arrives on Tuesday.

I seriously hate digital.

If everything was on film I would have just rolled my eyes and called it a day. Instead I felt like every moment I had captured with the boys was just going to vanish.

There ARE new pics to be seen, and video…I’ll post them in the next week

We’ve had a busy weekend!

They stayed with Nana and Pop Pop at the hotel Friday night!

They went to the Farmer’s Market for the first time!

They saw their first Twins Game at the Dome!

It was all very exciting and we have been enlightened…There is, in fact, crying in baseball. Lots and lots of crying. So much that they have a special “quiet” family room to take babies to during games. We lasted through the 5th inning, saw a few home runs and eventually beat the Brewer’s.

If first impressions mean anything, these boys will not grow up to run the bases in any sort of competitive capacity.

On another note, Wyatt takes great pride in correcting college papers. He’s been helping Pop Pop all weekend and is a very strict grader- no A’s here!

Oh Erin that sucks. I’m so glad you guys didn’t lose all of your pictures and vidios. After almost losing mine a long time ago I now back up on CD and put in our safe deposit box at the bank. There are the only thing worth a darn in the bank.lol

I guess it’ll have to be a weekly ritual now- upload and backup all new pics. There just doesn’t seem to be enough time some days and the “little” things just get lost in the shuffle. After this little scare I realise how much these litle moments mean to me and I’ll have to make the time. I think the first few days, weeks and months go by so fast I don’t even remember most of it- it’s kind of my little lifeline to their early days.

You'll have to tell me of this quiet room. C&J enjoyed the game, but the volume was a bit much for them.
And I'm glad you got your pictures back. It was a kind of similar incident that got us to actually re-start backing up photos a few months ago. (I was really good about it at first, then…)

It’s across from section 119, you go into the “Commissioner of Baseball” offices. The usher in our section pointed us there and there is an attendant outside the room once you get through the glass doors. It’s just a room with a TV and some chairs but it’s someplace quiet to go.
