Our week (sort of) in pictures!

We had lots of things happen since Sunday and I don’t think we really did the week justice, so here is a recap:

Sunday we had Father’s day!
We met Grandpa E and Beth down at Keegan’s for brunch. It was perfect- Lincoln had his first taste of Guinness (a taste from Mr. Wonderful’s finger, no need to call the police) and he loved it- he’s his mother’s son apparently.

Lincoln lulled to sleep by the Dropkick Murphy’s

This is how we roll- notice the absence of the carseats? We’ve moved on to sitting in carts and strollers now. We’re big like that.

Monday Lincoln and I went to see my friend Amanda from college- she was in town and before she left we went out to breakfast with her at French Meadow- Lincoln held it together and was quite the charmer. No pictures sadly but it was really really nice to see Amanda. She’ll be back in August I think so maybe then she can meet Wyatt or, gasp, both! I’ll need to brush up on my twin boy maneuvering skills in the next month, I am not good with both when out and about on my own.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Aunt JuJu and Uncle Mike were in town from Missoula- what a treat! We love it when they visit and were so glad Mr. Wonderful got the days off at the last minute so we could spend a little time with them. Again, not many pictures- we should have it surgically attached to our hand so we don’t forget to take pics at times like these!

Lincoln sleeping- again

Friday we headed over to Grandma E’s for a barbecue where we hung out and attempted to move the walker- still no luck. It’ll happen soon I suspect. The boys got their first “big boy” PJ’s and they look so grown up. Not babies at all….

Look at Wyatt- he’s like a real little boy now

Saturday we went to Grandpa E’s where we had another barbecue- we showed off our amazing sitting skills and were very very brave with the big dogs running around us. We aren’t really sure they are dogs though. Our experience is that dogs are hairless and like to hang out on the couch under a blanket- these “dogs” had hair and were big and ran around and stuff…we might not believe our Mom when she tells us these are, in fact, dogs…

Notice Lincoln holding onto Wyatt’s ear for dear life- just making sure you’re still here brother!

Today Wyatt had a great adventure and went with Mom to Target to get groceries and some other fun stuff for our trip to the lake this weekend. It was my first attempt at shopping with a baby in the cart. It was a little big but with the new beach towels for the boys I was able to prop Wyatt up and he then promptly fell asleep. He did a great job as long as the cart was moving and we were able to make it out of the store without a major meltdown- success!

You were right about the part in their hair being the same as the part in Dad's hair. I also like how John and Wyatt have the same look on their face in the picture where Wyatt is sitting up so straight. Keep taking pictures! I never get tired of looking at them…

Wyatt is practicing his grumpy face with his daddy. If he takes after me at all we will see this a lot 🙂
