If you are visiting from The Multiples and More blog we are happy you stopped by!
Just a little info on our crazy little life with two crazy little boys:
-Miss Erin and Mr. Wonderful have been married for 6 years
-For awhile we thought we would never have any children (by choice)
-We “saw the light” and planned to have our first baby born during 4th quarter (I haven’t had a Christmas off since I was 17 years old and figured this would be the only way)
-My Mom did the ultra sound (she’s an RN) that gave us the big surprise of twins (the first time I saw baby B (Wyatt) I asked if he was a yolk sack…sorry baby)
-I was really determined not to schedule a C-section, until I got to the end and then I jumped at the chance
-Our last real meal out in a restaurant before the boys were born was at Fogo de Chao– I just had them bring the platter of lamb chops around again and again…not enough room to mess around with bacon wrapped chicken!
-I went into labor the day before my scheduled C-Section
-I still had a C-Section
-I have no regrets about this at all
-I was really determined to breastfeed- I did, for 3 months
-I was really determined to pump- I did, around the clock, for almost 6 months
-I was really bummed when both came to an end
-My boys both stalled out on weight gain around 5 weeks
-My boys are both in the 90+ percentile for weight now
-They have never had a jar of baby food, I make it all
-We cloth diaper
-On top of having twin boys, we have two long haired cats and a hairless dog
-If you must know- I don’t “do it all” cleaning gets booted to the bottom of the list almost every time we get too busy with the boys. Although with their new mobility and infatuation with all things power cord, things are starting to change around here
Two fun facts about the boys:
-Lincoln Davis IS NOT in fact named after the presidents during the Civil War and certainly not after the band Linkin’ Park (people ask this ALL THE TIME!)
-Wyatt likes it when you tickle his belly button and Lincoln has been known to sit next to him and push it in and out…sending Wyatt into hysterics.
