What would YOU do?

It’s -1 degree outside and we’re staying in for the day.

Mr. Wonderful has been busy washing dishes and just decided it was a good day to have a Star Wars marathon. The REAL Star Wars…you know, the original ones…the ones that do not include Jar Jar Binks or Anakin before he was cloaked in black…his words, not mine. I kind of like them all and think if you’re going to invest in a series you have to go all the way. But I digress.

So we’ve got ourselves a marathon. And two boys lounging on Boppy’s drinking water in their diapers. Because Mr. Wonderful also decide it was a good day for napping sans clothes today (the kids, not Mr. Wonderful). Did I mention it’s a toasty 75 degrees in our house?

What a nice lazy day. I’d better get back to that laundry- you know, the one thing I can multi-task while watching movies!

I have no delusions that they will watch for a minute more than it takes to finish their water. They have things to destroy these boys. My piles of folded laundry will probably be the first thing to go.

Mr. Wonderful is correct. The excellence of Star Wars, Empire, and Jedi should not be diluted by exposure to their mediocre at best prequels. The last so-called Indiana Jones movie should be avoided as well.

I hear you on the mediocre but I still think you've got to at least have them all. If only to prove a point or teach a lesson.

What lesson could you possibly teach by owning the star wars movies. Hey kids, this is where george lucas completely mailed it in. He also cast the most non-threatening tool(s) as darth vader. I learned my lesson, there are only three real star wars movies and as far as I am concerned absolutely nothing happened before A New Hope

Yes- the lesson would be Don't Mail It In!

I'm with Mr. Wonderful myself. Sounds like you married a good one. 🙂
