Pooka Pure & Simple {A Review}

I’m on a mission to use less chemicals. In cleaning my house. In keeping up with our little yard. In caring for my own body. In the past I have said I find it extremely difficult to do these things, because good products are hard to find and when you find them, well, they aren’t exactly cheap!

My latest mission is finding some nice products to pamper myself with. Enter Pooka Pure & Simple.

I’ve never been a huge fan of the lightness of lotion and and have always found oils to be just a bit too much for my skin. Body Butters on the other hand are my perfect match. Smooth, luscious, long-lasting, but not too heavy. Plus, I’m a fan of the little tubs they come in, I have a big stack of them in every brand and scent combination you can think of.

In my search for a more natural product, I came across the Shea Butter by Pooka Pure & Simple, I tried it in Pomegranate. Made simply with Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Beeswax, Soy Lecithin, Fragrance and Essential Oils; this Body Butter is one of the heavier Body Butters I’ve tried.

The first you’ll notice is how it smells. I’m not a fan of fruity but the Pomegranate smells amazing. Fruity, but light- perfect for summer. The next thing you’ll notice is how it literally melts in your hands. A little goes a long way with this product. Seriously, no need to overdo it (unless you have really dry skin), this little 4 ounce tub will last me for awhile. Pooka Pure & Simple also has a lighter Whipped Cream that looks like it would fit my needs perfectly.

Pooka Pure & Simple has a whole line of products ranging from hair care to moisturizers, all natural, all preservative free (Don’t let them languish at the back of your cupboard for too long!). Every Friday Pooka has a Free Friday item that is awarded to the first few web orders of the day, what a great way to try out a new product.

If you’re in the market for some natural products that pamper, check them out!

    I have been an avid user of ALL Pooka products since the products inception…My skin loves Pooka so much that it doesn't function properly when I try to use something in the mean time when I run out of Pooka…It's definitely a product that serves it's purpose and just so happens to smell AMAZING in the process….

    You know, I tried the hair balm, or butter, or whatever it is. Instead of putting it on roots first, I put it on the ends first. I used it as a sort of straightening balm, and I've gotta say I was pretty pleased.
