I am a big fan of sweets. I LOVE the end of a meal where I can sink my teeth into something fudge-y and decadent more than almost anything I can think of. Being a Minnesota girl, I am well versed in the art of making bars. I can bake a nice cake and throw down with a batch of cookies too, but bars and little 2-bite treats are where it’s at.

Brownie Pops

So, on the night before the last day of school it was not surprising when I broke out the butter and sugar and got to baking.  Because in reality, The Slacker Mom is *not* in fact a planner and it was much too late for my original idea.   Thankfully people like home made goodies! The downside is I was up much later than I had wanted to be waiting for bars to cool enough to be cut and packaged and the little boxes of bars I packed with the boys the next day (although delicious) had little flair.

Enter (cacao) sweets & treats.

They’ll whip you up some of their Signature Brownies and Whoopie Pies (or Cake Truffles, Impossibly Moist Cupcakes and Cacao-O’s) and package them up special just for you. No muss, no fuss. Everything is individually wrapped so they are easy to pass out and share. They’ll even add a nice little custom tag if you want! Did I mention it’s all freshly made to order and all natural and organic? What is not to love?

I tried an assortment of items- Red Velvet Whoopie Pies, Chocolate Cake Pops, Signature Brownies, everything was moist and flavorful. I’m a big fan of Red Velvet and have been wanting to try Whoopie Pies they were the perfect two bite treat. I first started talking to Candice during a major heatwave across the Midwest (she is in Chicago, I am in Minneapolis) she was very great about making sure these chocolate goodies didn’t melt away during transport, even if it meant they were delayed a few days. Everything arrived in perfect condition.

**I’m trying out Rafflecoptor to see if it helps streamline the giveaway process a bit.
