Goat Milk Stuff {A Review}

I have a thing for fancy soaps.  I think it started back in Junior High when  I was introduced to Bath and Body Works and the Body Shop.  Over the years my tastes have outgrown the sickly sweet scents of my youth and I’ve developed a taste for fresh, natural and homemade.

If  I see someone peddling bars at a the farmers market I have to stop and smell and (usually) buy some.  It’s just a simple little indulgence of mine.

One of my favorites is all the natural goat milk soap from Goat Milk Stuff.

First off, the bars just look simple, rustic and plain old pretty all on their own.

Once you get past the visual appeal, you notice the different scents.  I love perfume and smelly things so I appreciate the vast selection.  My favorite this fall is the Cider Press with Rosemary Spearmint Essential Oil coming in a close second.

Goat milk Stuff is a family run company located in Indiana (did I mention there are 8 kids?).  They have a herd of Alpine dairy goats that produce all of the milk used in their soaps.  It all started 5 years ago when PJ (aka  Mom!) wanted to eliminate using chemicals on her children’s skin.  In 2008 Goat Milk Stuff was officially born- and many people are forever thankful!  The all natural soap seems to have some super powers, helping with everything from eczema to psoriasis.

In our quest to eliminate chemicals and “get green”, this is one of the easy things we can do.  I love it and I feel good about using it on my kids.  I don’t feel like I am missing out on anything I’d get at the big box stores.  Also: It’s PRETTY!

I will be doing a giveaway for a $20 giveaway to Goat Milk Stuff during the Birthday to Black Friday event running November 12th-25th.  Remember to check back for your chance to win!

Disclosure: I was provided products from Goat Milk Stuff to review for this post, all opinions are my own.
