Xperience Days {A Giveaway}

I’m starting to get into the Christmas shopping mood.  I know- CRAZY TALK!  I’ll let you in on a little secret: I’m not a big Black Friday shopper.  After 15 years in retail I like to have my  wrapped up as easily as possible without having to step foot in a store on the day after Thanksgiving.

That said, I am not one to have all my shopping wrapped up by October 1st either.  Somehow, it always gets done.

Of course there are always people on your list who are a little more difficult to buy for- you know the “people who have everything”.  I can hem and haw for months over what to get for certain people and then in the end get something that even I am not excited about.  Not cool at all!

I recently was introduced to Xperience Days.

Xperience Days Giveaway 2011

Xperience Days is a provider of unique gift experiences.  I am a fan of unique gifts and an even bigger fan of fun experiences.  I think they have more meaning than a regular old gift a lot of times, especially if it’s something you get to do with the person you are giving the gift to.

I was searching around their website (they have cities all across the country!) and came across a few things that kind of gave me the itch to travel.

A Pirate Cruise in Clearwater (Johnny Depp not included) A Chocolate Workshop in Boston (My favorite city in the world!) The Ultimate Warbird Flight Experience over the Sonoma Wine Valley (Did you know I was kind of obsessed with WWII aircraft?) or, a Savannah Ghost Tour for Two (Ghosts.  In the SOUTH! Good times.)

Alas, we don’t have plans to go to any of those places in the next year- we do however have two trips southeast coming up and we are kicking around booking a Charleston Schooner Sailing for Two tour when we are there for our 10th anniversary next fall or a Two hour Sailing Trip out of Yorktown Virginia when we visit my in-laws.  This is one gift where you can pretty much go anywhere and find something fun to do.  If your nearest metro area is not listed, think about where you plan on going in the next year and book a fun adventure in advance!

Xperience Days is offering one of my readers a $50 gift certificate to be redeemed for any of their unique gift experiences!  To enter please fill out the Rafflecopter form below.
