Toasting You With Tiny Bubbles

We Made it! This week marks week 52 of the Breastfeeding Blog hop!

I gotta say, when I answered Jen’s tweet way back last January looking for a guest host for a breastfeeding blog hop, I never expected it to turn into this.

#1- I never expected Judah and I to make it as long as we did. Even our short-term goal of 6 months was looking unlikely when I signed on to this hop.

#2- My life was completely crazy when this all started. My 2-year-old twins were just diagnosed with autism and had just started school, my sister (our nanny) was hospitalized with meningitis for a month, I quit my job to stay home full-time…I never in a million years thought I’d throw myself into blogging about breastfeeding.

#3- I have never felt like a “real” breastfeeding mom, until I met this awesome group. Every other group made me feel inadequate because I couldn’t “exclusively” breastfeed. That wasn’t so with this group- you ladies rock my socks off.

So, here’s to you!

Thank you for 52 awesome weeks.

And to Jen, I tip my hat and curtsy (and all that jazz). This was your baby and I know that at least in my case, it probably made the difference between sticking it out and quitting. For that, I thank you. You will be missed!

This post is part of the Breastfeeding Blog Hop which runs every Thursday and Friday and starting next week will be hosted by The Slacker Mom, Diary of a Devil Dog Wife and The Gnome’s Mom! (Life with Levi is retiring after this week.)

This weeks topic is: “We Made It: 52 Weeks of the Breastfeeding Blog Hop” Link up your posts and celebrate!

I am glad you made it. I wanted to breastfeed as long as possible. My little one self weaned at 18 months and that was it.

This is great. I wish I would have known about this blog hop sooner. I'm still nursing my 14 month old and may have to link up

Thank you so much for sharing all of these great resources! It is such an accomplishment and it is nice to be surrounded by mothers who help each other out when we are struggling to find our own way. Thank you so much for this hop and I look forward to learning and reading more
