I will be reviewing and giving away an OsoCozy AIO! Make sure you also check out The Gnome’s Mom’s review of Happily Homegrown and the EcoPosh Trainer!
The Dirty Details:
I’m coming clean. The OsoCozy AIO was the very first All in One diaper that I have ever used. I have absolutely nothing to compare it to and I don’t know if that is a good or a bad thing. The OsoCozy AIO comes with either unbleached birdseye or white cotton gauze on the inside. The outside is a nice thick PUL with a wide heavy duty Aplix closure. It’s no muss, no fuss. It comes in 2 sizes so you have a good fit from infant through toddler.
Day Use: 5 Bums Up
Overnight Use: 2 Bums Up
Ease of Use: 4 Bums Up
Quality: 5 Bums Up
Overall: 4 Bums Up
Daytime Use: The OsoCozy AIO was a great diaper for daytime use. It was easy to get on and off, the wide Aplix closure holds up well to boys that are climbing and running and jumping, it also absorbs enough to get through a long nap. It is very trip under clothing.
Overnight Use: The OsoCozy did not work well for us at night. We definitely needed a little extra something, be it an insert or a pre-fold but there just isn’t room to add anything to this diaper. My boys are all at or just below 30lbs and this diaper is supposed to work up to 35lbs. This may work better at night for a child of a different age or weight.
Ease of Use: This is one sturdy diaper and it couldn’t be simpler. When I first started cloth diapering I swore I would never convert to snaps. I’ve had to make the leap because the boys are all enamored with taking off their diapers, but the ease of use cannot be beat in my opinion. The only downfall for me is the extra time it takes to dry- this is the only diaper that isn’t dry when I am done running my load through (a common AIO issue). I have been letting it hang dry but that usually takes at least a day or so.
Quality: This diaper is of superb quality in my opinion. I keep saying “sturdy” and that is exactly what it is. the inside is the same cotton material that an pre-fold is made of, the outside is a nice thick PUL, the Aplix is wide. I was very happy with the quality of this diaper.
Overall: The OsoCozy AIO is a fantastic diaper. If you like pre-folds but want something easy and don’t mind a little extra drying time- this is a diaper for you. The only real downfall for me was the nighttime and really, if your child is on the smaller side or not a particularly heavy wetter, you might be just fine with this diaper.
