Welcome to day number 12 of 30 Days of Dipes! Today is sponsored by:

Today I am featuring the Swaddlebees One-Size Simplex AIO diaper! Over at The Gnome’s Mom you can catch her spotlight on Fluffy Rump and her review of the Fuzzibunz Trickle Free Trainer (I wonder how her experience will compare to mine?).
The Dirty Details:
I wasn’t sure what to think when I got this diaper in the mail. It wasn’t like any other diaper I had in my stash with the attached tongue-style insert. It was beyond cute. To be honest I was really hoping I liked this diaper because it was just adorable (albeit a bit girlie) and I wanted it to stick around in my rotation for awhile. This diaper knocks it out of the park for me.
Day Use: 5.0Bums Up
Overnight Use: 3.0 Bums Up
Ease of Use: 5.0 Bums Up
Quality: 5.0 Bums Up
Overall: 4.5 Bums Up
(Don’t let Judah’s sad face fool you. He’s just getting tired of cloth diaper photo shoots and today’s happened to be right before nap time- not good timing on my part!)
Daytime Use: Easy on and off, handled regular daytime use and naps with ease. This is quite trim and fits under clothes with no problems at all.

Overnight Use: Can I just skip this part? This did better with an extra insert tucked in than it did on it’s own, but it still did not get us through the night with out a little dampness on the PJ’s. I’m hoping that over time as the cotton birdseye fluffs up we’ll get a little more absorbancy out of this one so we can get through the night- we are *almost* there!

Ease of Use: This diaper really could not be easier- you can flip the tongue-style insert out and over the top if you are looking for a stay-dry option, if you want all natural fibers next to your babies skin you fold the insert back into the pocket. the pocket is plenty big enough to accommodate extra inserts if needed. the snaps are pretty standard and everything comes apart in the wash. Easy.

Quality: The Swaddlebees Os Simplex AIO is a quality diaper that doesn’t seem to pose any issues. Cotton birdseye has (in my experience) only gotten better with time as it fluffs up. There are no inserts to lose, the snaps and PUL seem like they could take a beating.

Overall: I loved this. I loved how it fit. I loved how easy it was. I loved how I didn’t have to hunt for the insert when sorting diaper laundry. I loved how it’s got 10 layers of cotton birdseye in the wetzone! I love that if I add extra inserts they will agitate out of the wash because of the openings at both ends. Other than this not being a winner for us at night, I can’t think of a single thing I dislike about this diaper.
