Cloth diaper giveaway event!

Welcome to day number 15 of 30 Days of Dipes! Today is sponsored by:

Today I am featuring the Tiny Tush Elite OS Pocket Diaper.  Over at The Gnome’s Mom you can catch her review of the Tiny Tush Trim fitted and cover and and don’t forget to check out Jen’s review of the Tiny Tush Elite OS Pocket diaper as well.

The Dirty Details:

The Tiny Tush is a nice little pocket diaper that has plenty of room to grow and lots of options to get just the diaper you are looking for.

Day Use: 4.0Bums Up

Overnight Use: 3.0 Bums Up

Ease of Use: 3.0 Bums Up

Quality: 4.0 Bums Up

Overall: 3.75 Bums Up

Daytime Use: The Tiny Tush Elite handled the normal daytime routine well- naps,  hanging out climbing on the furniture (my boys are like monkeys) and we didn’t have any leaks or fit issues.  If we were going to be out and about I added both inserts which makes it bulkier, but there were no leaks, which is always the goal- it’s not fun to show up after a car-ride with soggy pants!

Overnight Use: Another pocket, another leak.  We used both inserts that came with this diaper (microfiber) and we had leaks each night.  This might not be an issue with a smaller child or a child who is not a heavy wetter.  Most people find pockets to be great for overnight and 2 inserts to be plenty.  There is a fairly generous pocket, so if you needed, you could probably get another insert or soaker in there too.

Ease of Use: This is a typical snap diaper with a 3-stage rise and an overlap snap for newborns.  It does however only have 1 row of snaps at the waist which makes it the wing flaps droop a bit- this is really just an aesthetic issue.  The envelope style pocket is easy to open and stuff.

Quality: This diaper is made in the USA and you have the option to upgrade to either microfiber or cotton inserts that are made in the USA as well.  I like the overlap snap for the smaller infants and the micro-fleece lining is really soft to the touch.

Overall: I think this is a great diaper for lovers of pockets.  This diaper fits the boys (who are all around 30lbs) with no problems and plenty of room to grow.  This diaper comes in both aplix and coordinating snaps (which are a nice touch)  the color options seem endless.  The options for cotton inserts are a plus for me as well.
