Cloth diaper giveaway event!

Welcome to day number 26 of 30 Days of Dipes! Today is sponsored by:

30 Days of Dipes gogreen diapers

Today’s I’m reviewing the GoGreen Diapers Champ pocket diaper and their Adapt-A-Snap!  Jen is dishing on Tender Tushies and Lori also had GoGreen on the docket- be sure to check out their reviews and giveaways after you get done here!

The Dirty Details:

To be honest, the Adapt-A-Snap makes this diaper for me.  I love it.

Day Use: 3.5 Bums Up

Overnight Use: 2.0 Bums Up

Ease of Use: 5.0 Bums Up

Quality: 3.5 Bums Up

Overall: 3.5 Bums Up

Daytime Use: This was pretty typical as pockets have gone for us for daytime.  It did only come with one insert so that is pushing it for us.  Long car rides are out of the question, we had two big leaks wearing this diaper in the car.  Although an extra insert may have prevented that one.

Overnight Use: One insert, definitely a no-go with my boys.  You may be able to get through the night with one insert for a younger infant, but we struggle at 3 microfiber inserts- 1 is not going to cut it.

Ease of Use: Here is where I talk about the Adapt-A-Snap!  I love hook and loop, I miss it.  The Adapt-A-Snap allows me to turn my GoGreen into a hook and loop diaper.  The snaps on this diaper are pretty easy- I love the color coding so you know that you are on the right track with where you are snapping.  The hook and loop just makes it a breeze, I don’t think I’ve taken it off since I put it on!

Quality: This is a typical double leg-gusset pocket.  It has a double envelope opening sleeve with the snap to hold the insert in place.  I like the features but I feel like the fabrics are a bit on the flimsy side.  The Adapt-A-Snap has fantastic hook and loop, very strong.  It does not have any laundry tabs however, I suppose you could remove it before you wash, but that doesn’t make sense to me.

Overall: I liked this diaper, it was the very first diaper I tried with double leg-gussets and I can see why people like them so much.  I think the Adapt-A-Snap is a must-have for anyone who loves hook and loop but has switched over to snaps.
