So last week I told you I was on a detour. This week I am pretty sure the train is off the tracks.
I am grazing like crazy and I can’t stop myself. I know I’m eating like crap and I just can’t stop. thankfully today was grocery shopping day and I felt a little more in control just by the fact that I wasn’t bringing anything into the house that I didn’t want in the house.
The Easter candy has got to go. (My children are going to be so deprived.)
So I’m going to ramp up my efforts at the pool. Get back to watching what I eat. Stop myself from indulging in just one more snack (or most likely a well deserved beer) that is going to send my calories through the roof.
I have to get it under control.
Because although I spend my workouts in the pool, I am far from swimsuit ready.
I want to be able to click on a site like figleaves and find a suit that I love and just…buy it! Without having to worry about what body camouflaging tricks are imbedded in the fabric. For once.
So I’m going to keep pushing. But I might be cranky. I might be easily swayed off my routine and my precariously formed eating habits. I might whine about having to skip the Tall Grass and instead pour myself yet another 12 ounces of water. But i’m going to push though. I’m going to do this.
And one day (and it probably won’t be soon) I’m going to click onto the swimwear from figleaves and I am going to pick out a suit I love and I am going to buy it and I am going to look great in it. Well, as good as you can look with the “Twin Tummie”.
