With the seasonal sickness upon us all, I have been using my time at home to get a few extra things done before I’m in a time crunch. Like packaging up the Valentines for the boys classrooms- that would be 4 different classrooms if you are keeping track! This is usually reserved for February 13th around 11pm, so I am feeling mighty accomplished right now!
This year, instead of just going the old school route of Conversation Hearts, I thought I would kick it up a notch and include a few sensory friendly items with each valentine- bubbles, Cloud Sand, and bouncy balls. Maybe I went a little overboard?
I have Valentines and little bags to hold all the little treasures, and to make everything that much more special, I just ordered personalized stickers to close the bags from Pear Tree Greetings.
Pear Tree Greetings is a company located right here in Minnesota (I LOVE working with local companies!) and they have really fun products that are right in line with current style trends.
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner there is still time to get fantastic classroom Valentines and the prices are a little bit cheaper than other premium online stationary companies. Always a plus- especially when you are going above the traditional boxed Valentines you get at Target. Which I will admit, I did this year simply because I went all out on the add-ons!

Pear Tree Greetings has been so great to work with, and they would like to work with you! Enter to win a $25 giftcode to Pear Tree Greetings (expires 2-28-2013) to be used on any of their Valentine’s items. I am keeping the giveaway short so there is plenty of time for the winner to order items before Valentine’s day!
Disclosure: I was given a code to use at Pear Tree Greetings to use their service. All opinions are mine and I *do* adore working with local Minnesota companies.

I love that Valentine's Day is a bright spot in the middle of dreary winter!
Iloveit! And my kids’ favorite holiday is Valentine’s day!
….which is the part I love best about it. they make cards and decorations. they are all about the hearts and its so fun to see them so excited about our traditions (decorating, heart-shaped homemade pizza).
